Newborn Photography
My specialty and passion is newborn photography.
With careful attention to every detail, the newness of your little one will be preserved beautifully so that you will always remember those tiny little swirls of hair, dimples on their hands and the details that make her unique.
Newborn sessions take place in my St. Petersburg studio.
If you prefer a more lifestyle approach to your images, I will also travel to the comfort of your home to capture those first moments in time with your new baby.
We take all the time we need to capture this fleeting moment in time in a simple and real way. I provide a wide variety of wraps, blankets, hats and props, and I also love to incorporate family heirlooms and other personal items in the session.
The best time for a session is between 5 and 10 days after birth.
So if you are looking for newborn portraits, it is very important to contact me during your pregnancy so you can be guaranteed a session.
Most of the babies you see in my portfolio have been photographed at around 7 days of age. It is during this time they are sleepy and able to be photographed in the sleepy positions I am known for. With the sleep deprivation and everything else that goes along with a new baby, the tiny details can be easily forgotten.

Baby Photography
Your little newborn will change so much during that first year.
Don't forget about those sweet little 7-month-olds or new little walkers! I offer multiple session plans so you can capture all the phases of your baby's first year.
I love to present images of sweet little chubby rolls, toothless grins....there's nothing like the smile on a little one laughing at her mommy or the sweetness of a new little stander that's so proud of himself.

Child Photography
Children photography is captured anywhere in the Tampa Bay area.
Parents have told me that I have captured the true essence of their child. I love to take the time with each child to draw out their uniqueness and true personalities in their portraits.
I commission very few sessions each week so that I can take the time needed to devote specifically to the needs of each of my families. It is important to me to meet with you to discuss your needs before hand, discuss the personalities and likes/dislikes of your child so that I can give you the best possible experience with Wildsugar Photography and end up with portraits you will always treasure.
My style is very relaxed and laid-back - I really love to take the session from subdued and calm to silly (and sometimes wild) in order to show an array of personality in your completed portraits. My goal is to provide you with images that not only show what your child looks like, but who they ARE.
My hope is that the essence and unique beauty of your child comes through in my portraiture.

I offer a wide variety of options for you to display your newborn photography, baby photography, child photography, family photography portrait art.
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will meet at the studio to create beautiful displays for your portraits. I work closely with my clients to make sure that they have a plan for their portrait art. I offer beautiful custom framing, museum quality coffee table books, gallery wrapped canvas groupings and personalized portrait boxes.
My goal with each session is for you to leave Wildsugar Photography with a plan for your portraits to be enjoyed for generations to come.
